If you are homeless or being released from prison, and are eligible for help, the local authority will provide housing advice, assistance and support and will take reasonable steps to prevent you becoming homeless. This is in line with their legal obligations.

Housing Floating Support Service
A free, short term visiting service which will help you stay in your home and keep your independence. It is available to Hammersmith and Fulham residents aged 18 years or over who are having difficulties managing their accommodation and staying independent in the community. Floating support can offer help managing your money, bills, benefits, reporting repairs, sorting out rent, filling in forms, and signposting to other services.
